About

I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ! In addition to this I am a wife, to a wonderful husband, and the mother of three sweet little boys. I have been pursuing a Master’s in biblical counseling for the past few years, leading a women’s discipleship group for the past two years, and coordinating our church’s children’s ministry for two years. I know that while parenthood can bring great joy, it is also full of some of the toughest challenges. God has called women to love our husbands and children, be sensible, pure, workers in the home, kind, being subject our husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored (Titus 2:4-5). Men are called to to be sensible; in all things show yourself to be an example of good deeds, with purity in doctrine, dignified, sound in speech which is beyond reproach, so that the opponent will be put to shame, having nothing bad to say about us (Titus 2:6-8). These things are not easy, and requires a lot of diligent effort. My hope is to be a resource to other parents trying to grow in the Lord as they seek to raise their children to love the Savior. As a parent you can only lead your child to the cross, you cannot make them love the One who died there. However, we must make every effort to show our children why our savior is worthy of all glory and honor, and pray that God opens their eyes to behold the wonder of the cross where were their debt was paid!
